Description
The 100km Tumut Cycle Classic will be one of the most scenic rides you will ever cycle. You will head out along the tree lined Snowy Mountains Highway to Brandy Mary’s Park at the base of the picturesque Blowering Dam wall. Take a selfie before rolling on to picturesque Tumut Plains and Little River with the majestic mountains in the backdrop. Now it is time to test yourself on this next section as you wind your way through the foothills of the Goobarragandra Valley closely following the Little River to the turn around and food and water station at the Thomas Boyd campground. You may even spot a rainbow trout! After refuelling you’ll backtrack to Lacmalac Road and on to the outskirts of Tumut where you will branch off on to Wee Jasper Road gearing up for the epic 4km climb up the famous Wyangle Hill. Time for another selfie with spectacular views of the Tumut Valley, before heading to the finish line.
This ride has just over 1000m of vertical climbing (elevation gained) and is for the seasoned cyclist.
